12 August 2025

FLEX. Logistics
We provide logistics services to online retailers in Europe: Amazon FBA prep, processing FBA removal orders, forwarding to Fulfillment Centers - both FBA and Vendor shipments.
Amazon Brand Registry is a critical program for any serious brand owner selling on the platform. It provides powerful tools to protect your intellectual property, control your product listings, and unlock advanced marketing features. However, understanding its features—and its limitations—is key to using it effectively in the complex European marketplace.
Â
Core Features of Brand Registry
Enrolling in Brand Registry gives you access to a suite of tools designed to protect and build your brand.
- Powerful Search & Report Tools: You gain access to a dedicated internal tool to find and report potential intellectual property (IP) violations, such as counterfeit products or unauthorized use of your brand name.
- Proactive Brand Protection: Amazon uses the information you provide to automatically remove suspected infringing content and listings.
- Enhanced Listing Control: As the registered brand owner, you have greater influence over the content on your product detail pages, helping to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Access to A+ Content: This is one of the biggest benefits. Brand Registry allows you to replace the standard product description with rich content, including enhanced images, comparison charts, and brand stories, which can significantly increase conversion rates.
- Amazon Storefronts & Sponsored Brands: You can create a multi-page brand store on Amazon and run Sponsored Brands campaigns, which feature your logo and a custom headline.
Â
Key Limitations to Understand in Europe
- Trademark Requirements: To enroll, you need a registered trademark. Crucially, this trademark must be registered in the country of each Amazon marketplace where you want protection. A German trademark protects you on Amazon.de, but you'll need a French trademark for Amazon.fr, and so on. A European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) trademark is highly recommended as it covers all EU marketplaces.
- Brand Registry is Not a "Gate": Enrolling in Brand Registry does not prevent other sellers from listing your products. It does not "gate" your brand. Other sellers can still sell your authentic products (e.g., through retail arbitrage). Its purpose is to combat infringement, not to control distribution channels.
- It Doesn't Stop All Infringement: While powerful, the system is not perfect. You or your team must still be vigilant in monitoring for and reporting violations. It is a tool to assist you, not a fully automated police force.
- No Price Control: Brand Registry gives you no control over the retail price. Amazon's pricing algorithm and other sellers' prices will still dictate the final selling price.
Â
How FLEX. Complements Your Brand Registry Strategy
While we don't manage Brand Registry, our services ensure your brand's reputation is upheld through operational excellence.
- Quality Control: Our FBA prep services include an extra layer of inspection, ensuring only high-quality, authentic products are sent to Amazon, protecting your brand's image.
- Secure Supply Chain: We provide a secure and traceable logistics chain, reducing the risk of product diversion or loss.
Â
Conclusion
Amazon Brand Registry is an essential tool, not a magic bullet. For European sellers, leveraging its features requires a multi-country trademark strategy and a proactive approach to monitoring. Used correctly, it provides a powerful defense for your brand.
