OUR GOAL

To provide an A-to-Z
e-commerce logistics solution that would complete
Amazon fulfillment network
in the European Union.

End-to-End Customs Clearance & Import Compliance

If your paperwork creates friction (incorrect HS codes, missing EORI, VAT complexities, or non-compliant invoices), we resolve the red tape before your cargo hits the border—so your inventory flows freely and your supply chain remains penalty-free.

We process import documentation for manufacturers, freight forwarders, and global sellers—handling clearance for full containers (FCL), pallets (LTL), or courier parcels. From there, we audit commercial invoices, validate HS codes, and execute fiscal representation to release your goods into free circulation, ensuring they proceed to Amazon Fulfillment Centers without border delays.

Professional Customs Brokerage & Trade Compliance

What you can expect from FLEX:

  • Comprehensive declaration management: We handle the filing of all standard and simplified import/export declarations, ensuring your FBA shipments meet every legal requirement.
  • Strategic EU gateways: Leveraging our network of authorized brokerage partners at key European entry points, we execute clearance directly where your goods arrive for seamless market access.
  • Tariff & strategy consulting: We don't just file papers; we provide guidance on correct HS code classification and AEO benefits to optimize your duty costs legally.
  • Audit protection: Our team supports you with post-clearance audits, ensuring your historical documentation is airtight and reducing the risk of retrospective penalties.

When documentation is precise and compliance is airtight, the border stops being a barrier—and your inventory flows straight to Amazon.

Why Specialized Customs Brokerage is Critical for E-commerce

With FLEX. you get more than logistics — you gain a strategic partner in global trade.

  • E-commerce fluency: Traditional brokers often struggle with Amazon's requirements. We understand the specific needs of online merchants, ensuring your commercial invoices match Amazon's reality.
  • Speed to stock: By integrating customs brokerage directly with our logistics flow, we eliminate the communication lag that typically causes containers to sit at the port.
  • Risk mitigation: With our focus on "end-to-end customs processes," we prevent the bureaucratic errors that lead to border seizures or VAT compliance issues.
  • Cost control: Through smart customs strategies, we help you avoid overpaying duties while maintaining full compliance with EU regulations.

FLEX.

General brokers just file paperwork. E-commerce imports require strategic speed: accurate HS codes for retail, VAT compliance, and instant handoffs to logistics. FLEX. bridges the gap between bureaucracy and Amazon speed.

  • More clarity: Upfront duty & tax simulations prevent surprise costs, giving you a precise "landed cost" before shipping.
  • More e-commerce focus: We audit your invoices for Amazon compliance, ensuring mixed-SKU shipments don't get flagged for data errors.
  • More speed: Leveraging our trusted status with authorities, we secure faster release times than standard agencies.
  • More flow: Your goods aren't just "cleared"—they are immediately injected into our European distribution network, eliminating the handoff gap.

Frequently Asked Questions

1How long does the actual customs clearance process take?
If your commercial invoice and packing list are accurate, digital clearance is often completed within 24 hours of the vessel’s arrival. Delays usually happen due to missing HS codes or incorrect values, which is why we audit your documents before the cargo arrives.
2Who is responsible for paying Import Duties and VAT?
As the importer, you are liable. However, FLEX. calculates these costs upfront so you know the exact total. For non-EU sellers without a local tax number, we can act as your Fiscal Representative, handling the VAT payments to tax authorities on your behalf.
3Do you handle both Import and Export declarations?
Yes. We manage the full cycle. We handle Import Clearance for goods entering the EU/UK for sale, and Export Declarations if you need to return unsold inventory to your home country (e.g., USA or China).
4How do you ensure my shipment is compliant with EU regulations?
We don't guess. We work directly with customs authorities and stay updated on the latest trade laws. Our team verifies that your goods (and their HS codes) meet all safety and labeling standards before the shipment even leaves the origin port.
1Do you support customs for international returns?
Yes. If you need to remove inventory from Amazon FBA and ship it back to a non-EU country, we manage the "Re-export" procedures to ensure you don't pay unnecessary import taxes upon return to your home country.
2I am a US/China seller without an EU company. Can I still import?
Yes, but you cannot do it alone. You need a Fiscal Representative to clear goods through customs legally. FLEX. provides this service, allowing you to import and sell on Amazon Europe without setting up a physical office here.
3Can Amazon act as the Importer of Record (IOR) for my shipment?
No. Amazon explicitly refuses to act as the Importer of Record for FBA shipments. You (or your Fiscal Representative) must be the IOR. We take on this role or guide you through it to ensure Amazon accepts the delivery.
4What is an EORI number and do I need one?
An EORI number (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) is mandatory for importing goods into the EU or UK. If you don't have one yet, we can assist you in registering for an EORI number as part of our onboarding process.
