Cargo & Pallet Preparation
Pallet Standards: Only 800 x 1,200 mm Euro/CHEP pallets are accepted. Pallets must be GMA Grade B or higher and heat-treated to ISPM-15 standards for international shipments.
Height & Weight: * Maximum height: 1.8 m (single stack). Double-stacked pallets are permitted up to 3.0 m (total height including pallets) if safe to unload.
Maximum weight: 500 kg per pallet.
Stacking & Stability: Boxes must be securely stretch-wrapped in clear plastic (black/opaque wrap is grounds for rejection). Wrap at least three times around the pallet base. Cargo must remain stable after the wrap is removed.
Box & Labeling Requirements
Box Dimensions & Weight: * No side may exceed 63.5 cm (unless the item itself is larger).
Max weight per box: 23 kg.
Heavy Package Warning: Boxes exceeding 15 kg must be marked "Heavy Package" on both the top and sides.
Labeling Precision: * Use laser printers only (inkjet barcodes often smudge and become unscannable).
Place labels at least 3 cm from edges and never over a seam or tape.
Every box and pallet must carry a unique, valid FNSKU or shipping label. Mixed SKU pallets must be clearly marked as "Mixed Merchandise" or "Mixed SKUs".
Bypassing Supply Chain Friction at TRN1
Thriving in the high-precision, high-velocity environment of the Torrazza Piemonte terminal requires neutralizing supply chain friction before your freight ever reaches the robotics bay. By applying targeted operational solutions, you can build a highly resilient inbound strategy:
If you need to protect your IPI score while feeding a high-demand node, our pre Amazon storage provides a critical localized buffer. By staging your bulk stock safely outside the Amazon network, you can inject inventory into TRN1 precisely when capacity and sales velocity allow. This prevents aggressive overage fees and keeps your stock levels perfectly optimized for the Northwestern market.
If you want to eliminate the financial threat of automated gate rejections, our FBA prep acts as your ultimate quality firewall. Because robotic facilities are unforgiving, we conduct rigorous physical audits, re-palletizing loads to meet exact Euro-standard dimensions and ensuring flawless barcode placement for instant optical scanning.
If your freight faces administrative bottlenecks at Alpine passes or international borders, our import/export customs clearance for online sellers service completely removes that friction. We manage all VAT synchronization and complex customs declarations, ensuring your cargo transitions smoothly onto the Piedmont motorways without costly transit delays or impoundment.
If you require reliable intelligence on Amazon's constantly shifting inbound rules, consistently consulting our comprehensive Amazon Fulfillment Centers directory is essential. It provides the vital network data you need to perfectly position your stock and stay compliant with the latest European staging standards.
